How often should I receive Myofascial Release treatment?
Generally speaking, you can receive treatment, Myofascial Release as often as you would “want” or “need”. And some times “wanting” and “needing” are actually the same, we often don’t allow ourselves to “want” to feel good in our body. We often don’t allow ourself to “feel” into our body.
My first question to you is: Why are you seeking treatment?
My second question is: How do you feel in your body from head to toe, now, in the moment?
My third question is: How do you want to feel?
I often recommend sessions closer together, more frequently or longer sessions depending on the complexity of your symptoms. Often times when we have sessions closer together , 1-2x weekly , the body responds better and patients get the results they are looking for.
A Restorative Immersion is also a great way to take a deep dive into the healing process.
I also strongly encourage practicing self-care techniques at home as part of their treatment.
